Man dies following incident at sea – Thompson’s Bay
A father and son duo encountered problems earlier this morning whilst spear-fishing at Thompson’s Bay. The father seemingly suffered cardiac arrest whilst out at sea and the son swam the man back to shore.

KDM Lifeguards assisted the pair onto shore where CPR commenced. IPSS Medical Rescues paramedics arrived on scene and initiated an advanced life support resuscitation.
Despite efforts of paramedics, the man was declared dead on scene. Our condolences to the affected.
