FORMER LOCAL BUSINESSWOMAN FINALLY FACES TRIAL ON ALLEGED MULTIPLE FRAUD CHARGES
Former local businesswoman Carien Robberts, is finally standing trial for multiple alleged fraud charges.
According to IRS
Forensic Investigations’ Chief Executive Officer Chad Thomas, the IRS was engaged by several people to investigate allegations of fraud against Catherina Johanna Claudina Robberts also known as “Carien Botha”. “Many cases across Gauteng and also other provinces have been opened against her in the past few years,” says Thomas.
In the Benoni case, she was arrested, charged and the case is currently before the Benoni Magistrates Court and scheduled for trial from 1 to 4 November 2022.
