Child abuse and grievous bodily harm charges have been opened in a case involving a minor, against a maintenance service employee at a primary school in Germiston.
He was arrested yesterday. The School Governing Body was also involved, and they were meeting yesterday.
The school maintenance service employee allegedly hit a 6-year-old with a power cable because the child was playing on a wet floor.
When the mother originally complained to the principal, all he said was 'sorry'!
It is alleged that it is not the employees first offence; and that he is known for hitting the kids.
