Conductor Falls Out Of Moving Taxi: Verulam – KwaZulu Natal
A 22 year old man was injured after he fell out of a moving taxi on Ireland Street in the Verulam CBD a short while ago.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene by passing motorists. Upon arrival it was established that the fully loaded taxi was travelling from Verulam to Inanda when the sliding door derailed and fell off. The conductor was holding onto the door and was dragged out of the Toyota Hiace. He was treated for his injuries on scene before being transported to Osindisweni Hospital by ambulance.
None of the other passengers which included two infants were injured.
