Drug Addict Daughter Prays For Fathers Resurrection: Verulam – KZN

At approximately 17:15 today (Thursday) members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to Inanda Road in Verulam after receiving calls from the public reporting a female attempting to commit suicide by setting her self alight.

On arrival RUSA Members found a female seated on the roadside attempting to burn clothing (picture 2). She explained that she lives in a bush between the Mountview intersection and Fairview Drive.

She explained that she was attempting to start a fire to conduct a prayer in an attempt to resurrect her father who died 17 years ago. She also confirmed that her mother was murdered and she had no family. The female also admitted to being high on heroin while being interviewed. She allegedly supports her drug habit through prostitution.

The 35 year old was transported to the Verulam SAPS until her family could be located.
