1. A heat wave with persistently high temperatures are expected over the Free State (except over the extreme eastern parts), North-West and in places over the eastern parts of the Northern Cape until Sunday.

Fine and warm to hot becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.

4. NORTH-WEST PROVINCE:

Very hot in places in the extreme west, otherwise partly cloudy and hot with isolated thundershowers.

Very hot in the extreme west, otherwise partly cloudy and hot, but warm in places in the east. Isolated showers and thundershowers expected in the northern parts.

6. NORTHERN CAPE:

Morning and evening fog patches along the coast where it will be cool, otherwise fine and hot, but very hot in places over the interior.
The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.

7. WESTERN CAPE:

Partly cloudy and warm along the south coast, but cloudy in the morning and evening, otherwise fine and hot, but very hot over the Central Karoo. It will be cloudy over the north-eastern interior at first.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly along the south coast, otherwise fresh to strong.

8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate easterly to south easterly, but fresh in the afternoon.

Fine and hot, but partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers along and south of the escarpment.
The wind along the coast will be Light to moderate north easterly, becoming fresh to strong in the afternoon.

10. KWAZULU-NATAL:

Cloudy in the morning with fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in places in the north. Isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers are expected, except in the extreme north-east.
The wind along the coast will be gentle to moderate north-easterly becoming fresh in the afternoon.
