1. Heatwave conditions with persistently high temperatures are expected in places over the eastern and north-eastern parts of the Northern Cape, Free State and North-West until Monday.

1. GAUTENG:

Hot in the north, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers.

2. MPUMALANGA:

Cloudy with morning drizzle and fog patches over the eastern
high grounds, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with
scattered thundershowers but isolated in the north-east.

3. LIMPOPO:

Cloudy with morning drizzle and fog patches over the eastern high grounds, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in places in the Limpopo Valley, the Lowveld
and the Western Bushveld. Isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers are expected in the east and extreme south.

4. NORTH-WEST PROVINCE:

Fine to partly cloudy and hot to very hot with isolated thundershowers.

5. FREE STATE:

Fine to partly cloudy and hot to very hot with isolated thundershowers except in the southwest. Scattered
thundershowers are possible in the north-east.

6. NORTHERN CAPE:

Cool along the coast with morning fog patches, otherwise fine and warm, but hot over the northern interior. It will be very hot in the extreme north-east with isolated thunderstorms.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-westerly to westerly.

7. WESTERN CAPE:

Cloudy with fog patches in the west in the morning becoming partly cloudy, otherwise fine and warm,
but hot over the central and eastern interior.
The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong easterly to south-easterly along the south and south-west coast, otherwise moderate north-westerly.

8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Cloudy at first otherwise fine and hot but warm along the coast.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly but strong to near gale force in the afternoon.

9. EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Cloudy south of the escarpment with light rain and drizzle becoming partly cloudy and warm with isolated thunderstorms
in the east in the afternoon. It will be hot in the north but cool along the coast.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly but strong to near gale force in the afternoon.

10. KWAZULU-NATAL:

Morning fog over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cool but warm in the west. Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected.
The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly north of
Charters Creek at first, otherwise moderate to fresh north-easterly.
