Executive Deputy Mayor City Of Cape Town Ian Neilson says his office has been trying to get a meeting with the Water and Sanitation Minister Gugile Nkwinti to discuss relaxation of water restrictions.
Cape Town’s dam levels have risen to above 50% with the recent rains but the Department of Water and Sanitation said the city should rather wait until the dams reach 85%.
