BCI Security were one of the first on scene at a major motor vehicle accident at the intersection of the N14 & R28 earlier this morning.

It is alleged that a trucks brakes failed that was travelling from Krugersdorp down the hill towards the intersection.

The truck collided with several other vehicles in its path.

The carriageway is littered with debris from the multiple collisions including the loads that 2 of the trucks involved were carrying.

Thankfully despite the horrific scene no fatalities have been reported thus far.

Local authorities are on scene to investigate the events leading up to and the cause of the accident.

Local roads agency staff are on scene clearing up the road.

Well done to all that responded to the urgent call for help.
