[PIETERMARITZBURG] – Two taxis collide leaving three injured

Three people were left injured this morning following a collision between two taxis at the Church and Boshoff Road intersection in Pietermaritzburg.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the one taxi in the middle of the intersection while a second had come to a stop on the side of the road against a shop. Several people were found walking around on the scene.

Paramedics assessed the passengers from both vehicles and found that three had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.

The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Northdale Provincial Hospital for further treatment.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
