SAPS Eastern Cape youth exploding with ambition.
Eastern Cape Provincial Commissioner, Lt Gen Liziwe Ntshinga continues in her quest to youth empowerment.
Constables Reatile Gogodla and Asanda Kato are the two successful young applicants who have been shortlisted and are currently undergoing in-service training and mentorship as the 2 new female bomb technicians for the South African Police Service (SAPS) in the Eastern Cape. These young female constables are now skilled to identify and neutralize explosive hazards adding to the effort to keep citizens safe. They fearlessly took on a less travelled path because of a demand in the field. They are now ready to increase police trust from citizens by reducing the number of cash-in transit and ATM bombings as skilled bomb technicians.
