Shack Gutted In Fire: Tongaat – KZN
A shack built at the rear of a home on Lily Pond Avenue in Gandhi’s Hill, Tongaat was gutted in a fire last night (Sunday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) were
called out to the residence at approximately 19:43. On arrival, Reaction Officers found a shack engulfed in flames. The intense heat resulted in windows, taps and plastic gutters being damaged on the main building. The fire was extinguished by Fire Fighters on their arrival.A 38 year old male who resided in the shack was unharmed and could not confirm as to how the fire had started.
