Stella: Xander's lawyer does not know how he will plea
North West police spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Amanda Funani said the investigation had been completed and the case is at the national prosecuting authority for the formulation of charges.
Magistrate Christelle Matthews postponed the case until after October 12 to finalize the charge sheet.
After only a few moments with the accused on the stand stand, the case was postponed.
Moolman Wessels, Xander's lawyer, said they were not sure exactly what charges would be against Xander.
It is still uncertain whether Xander Bylsma, 19, will plead guilty or innocent for the murders of his ex-girlfriend Sharnelle Hough (17) and her best friend Marna Engelbrecht (16). Moolman is still waiting for the charge sheet, before they will decide the final charge that will be formally served on him when he appears in court again on October 12.
