Suicide: Tongaat – KZN

The body of a man was discovered hanging by his belt from a tree in Amanzimnyama Park near Brake Village in Tongaat this morning (Saturday).

At approximately 07:40 the Reaction Unit South Africa Tongaat Operations Center received a call from a member of public reporting the incident. On arrival the individual, who is believed to be in his thirties was confirmed to be deceased. Several empty beer cans were found under the tree. The identity of the deceased has not been established at this stage.

Police are on scene and investigating further.
