Tik Tok Military Doc Scams Again: Durban – KZN

Several single Durban – Kwazulu Natal woman who fell victim to a scammer identifying himself as a millionaire Military Doctor on social media platform Tik Tok have contacted Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) after reading an article on this Page (Three Woman Scammed On Tik Tok 16/09/2022)

Two single mothers and a divorcee approached the RUSA Headquaters since September 3, 2022 reporting that they were scammed out of R113 450 after being promised marriage by a man identifying himself as Howard Chesser. The article that was published identified the Tik Tok & WhatsApp account details used and eight (8) new victims have come forwarded since explaining that they were also scammed by the man promising to marry them and raise their children. All the victims had willingly shared thier contact numbers and personal details on Tik Tok & communicated privately with the suspect. The eight woman were scammed out of R73 000 in total. The similar modus operandi was used by the man to scam all the woman.

The Tik Tok Account Chesser 205 and WhatsApp No. +2347046492485 was used to scam all eleven (11) woman.
