ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE #100MENMARCH
On Tuesday, 10 July 2018, Government is hosting the #100MenMarch to raise awareness on violence against women and children.
The March is hosted in partnership with business, labour, faith based organisations and non-profit organisation as participants. Each stakeholder participating will have at least 100 men representing their sector.
The 100 groupings of men marching will be in their respective work uniform to emphasise the “send me” call to action as pronounced by President Ramaphosa. In answering the call they will be committing themselves to end violence against women and children.
The March, hosted in Pretoria is open to all South Africans to participate including women to participate.
Those who cannot make it to the march are invited to pledge their support by signing an online petition which is accessible through the link: https://www.gopetition.com/petitions/100-men-march.html
The details of the march are as follows:
Participants will gather on an open ground at Cnr Kgosi Mampuru Street and Madiba Street, near Schubart Park in Pretoria
Date: Tuesday, 10 July 2018
Time: 08h00 for 10h00 (march starts at 10h00)
Destination: Union Buildings, Southern Lawns
