6 suspects arrested in Moyeni after intense investigation

EASTERN CAPE – The relentless efforts by detectives from Moyeni SAPS led to the arrest of six suspects following the murder of a 64-year-old retired male Fundisile Swapi.

On the 25 of May 2020, the wife of the deceased reported to the SAPS that both she and her husband were at their home in the Mgababa Admin Area. They were both watching Television when a group of unknown persons entered their home through the door which was unlocked wearing masks. All of the suspects were carrying weapons. They went straight to the husband and began attacking him.
