1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the central and eastern parts of the Northern Cape, Free State, North-West and extreme western parts of Limpopo province.

2. Severe thunderstorms are expected in places over the Highveld of Mpumalanga(Sunday).

SPECIAL WEATHER ADVISORIES:

1. Extremely hot conditions are expected in the Lowveld of Mpumalanga, extreme western parts of Limpopo and extreme north-eastern parts of the Northern Cape.

2. Heatwave conditions with persistently high temperatures are expected in places over the eastern and north-eastern parts of the Northern Cape, Free State, North-West until Monday while over Gauteng and Western Bushveld of Limpopo it is expected until Sunday.

1. GAUTENG:

Partly cloudy and hot becoming cloudy with isolated late afternoon
showers and thundershowers but scattered in the north and east.

2. MPUMALANGA:

Cloudy in the east at first with fog along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm, but hot over the Lowveld.
Isolated afternoon thundershowers are expected but scattered in the Highveld.

3. LIMPOPO:

Cloudy in the east at first with morning fog along the escarpment,
otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot, but very hot in places
in the western Bushveld. Isolated afternoon thundershowers are
expected in the south-west.

4. NORTH-WEST PROVINCE:

Fine and hot to very hot becoming partly cloudy with isolated
thundershowers in the east.

5. FREE STATE:
————–
Fine and hot to very hot becoming partly cloudy with isolated
thundershowers in the north and east.

6. NORTHERN CAPE:

Very hot in the north and east, otherwise fine and warm to hot
but cool along the west-coast.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly
to south-easterly.

7. WESTERN CAPE:

Cloudy and cool along the south-coast at first, otherwise fine and warm but hot in places over the western interior. It will become partly cloudy over the adjacent interior and along the south-coast in the afternoon.
The wind along the coast will be fresh to moderate south-easterly to southerly but south-easterly to easterly along the south-coast, becoming strong between Table Bay and Hermanus by the afternoon.

8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Cloudy south of the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but cool along the coast.
The wind along the coast will be light south-westerly, becoming
modarate easterly in the afternoon.

9. EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Cloudy and cool south of the escarpment with light rain and drizzle but warm north of the escarpment where it will become cloudy with isolated afternoon thunderstorms.
The wind along the coast will be light south-westerly, becoming moderate easterly in the afternoon.

10. KWAZULU-NATAL:

Morning fog, otherwise cloudy and cool but warm in the west.
Scattered showers and thundershowers are expected.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly.
