KwaZulu-Natal: At 06H33 Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the M25 under the N2 bridge.
Reports from the scene indicate that at least 15 patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to serious.
One patient an adult male was found to be in a critical condition and was treated on scene by Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) a Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner.
Due to the nature of his injuries the Netcare 5 specialised helicopter ambulance was called to the scene to airlift the patient to hospital for further treatment.
The Ethekwini Fire and Rescue Services, SAPS as well as Durban Metro Police were on scene.
