1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the
central and eastern parts of the Northern Cape, western parts of the Free State and North-West as well as the Walter Sisulu LM in the Eastern Cape.

2. Severe thunderstorms are expected in places over the eastern
Highveld areas of Mpumalanga and the western parts of KwaZulu-Natal.

SPECIAL WEATHER ADVISORIES:

1. Heatwave conditions expected over the Free State, western
North-West province as well as the central and northern parts of the
Northern Cape from Saturday up to Tuesday.

Fine and hot, becoming partly cloudy with isolated thundershowers from late afternoon.
The expected UVB sunburn index:Very High

2. MPUMALANGA:

Cloudy in places with morning drizzle along the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated thunderstorms, except the Lowveld, but scattered on the eastern Highveld. It will be hot in the Lowveld.

3. LIMPOPO:

Cloudy in places along the escarpment in the morning with early morning drizzle, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated thunderstorms in the south-west and south from afternoon.

4. NORTH-WEST PROVINCE:

Fine and hot becoming partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in the central and eastern parts.

5. FREE STATE:

Fine and hot becoming partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in the central and eastern parts.

6. WESTERN PARTS OF THE NORTHERN CAPE:

Cloudy at first in places along the coast where morning fog patches is
expected, otherwise fine and warm to hot, but very hot in the east.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly.

7. WESTERN CAPE:

Cloudy at first along the coast where it will become partly cloudy,
otherwise fine and warm to hot.
The wind along the coast will be moderate south-easterly but south-westerly along the south coast.

8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Cloudy along the coast becoming partly cloudy and warm, otherwise fine and hot to very hot.
The wind along the coast will be light westerly becoming south easterly in the afternoon but moderate easterly east of Algoa Bay freshening in the afternoon

9. EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Cloudy and warm to hot south of escarpment with afternoon showers in places, otherwise sunny and hot to very hot with isolated thunderstorms along the eastern escarpment.
The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north easterly

10. KWAZULU-NATAL:

Cloudy with morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and warm but hot in places in the north. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected but scattered in the west.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.
