1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the central and eastern parts of the Northern Cape, the Central Karoo of the Western Cape, the northern interior of the Eastern Cape, the eastern Free State and the extreme western parts of the North West Province.

1. Severe thunderstorms are expected over the eastern parts of the Northern Cape, the western Free State and the western parts of the North West Province.

2. MPUMALANGA:

Morning fog patches over the escarpment otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered in the extreme west. It will be warm over the Lowveld and the south-west.

3. LIMPOPO:

Morning fog patches over the interior otherwise cloudy and warm with isolated showers and thundershowers, but scattered over the Western Bushveld.

4. NORTH-WEST PROVINCE:

Partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers.

Cloudy in the north-east at first, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated to scattered showers thundershowers.

6. NORTHERN CAPE:

Fine and warm along the coast, otherwise hot to very hot. It will become partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in the east, but scattered in the extreme east.
The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.

7. WESTERN CAPE:

Fine and warm, but hot to very hot over the interior becoming partly cloudy along the south coast from the west during the afternoon. It will be extremely hot over the Central Karoo.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly along the southerly to south-easterly.

8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Warm along the coast, otherwise fine and hot to very hot becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon thunderstorms in the north-east.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly, but strong in the east during the afternoon. It will become fresh south-westerly in the west from the evening.

9. EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Warm along the coast, otherwise fine and hot to very hot becoming partly cloudy with isolated showers and thundershowers in the afternoon, but scattered in the north.
The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong north-easterly.

10. KWAZULU-NATAL:

Cloudy with morning fog over the interior and morning rain in the east, otherwise partly cloudy and warm with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly becoming fresh to strong north-easterly from the south by late morning spreading northwards by late afternoon.
