over the Cape Winelands, Central Karoo, Eden and Overberg
Districts of the Western Cape, the Northern Cape, western parts
of both the North-West and Free State as well as the interior of the
Eastern Cape.

1. Extremely hot temperatures are expected over the Central Karoo of
the Western Cape and western interior of the Eastern Cape.

2. MPUMALANGA:

Partly cloudy in the east at first with morning fog patches along the
escarpment, otherwise fine and warm but hot over the Lowveld.

3. LIMPOPO:

escarpment, otherwise fine and warm.

4. NORTH-WEST PROVINCE:

Partly cloudy in the northeast at first, otherwise fine and warm to hot
becoming partly cloudy.

Morning fog along the coastline where it will be warm, otherwise fine and hot to very hot, becoming partly cloudy in the extreme northeast.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly.

7. WESTERN CAPE:

Morning fog along the west coast, spreading to Table Bay, otherwise partly cloudy to fine and warm to hot but very hot to extremely hot in the east
with high level clouds at times.
The wind along the coast will be moderate easterly along the south coast at first, otherwise fresh south-westerly to westerly, reaching strong east of Gansbaai.

8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Fine and hot but very hot to extreme hot over the interior.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming moderate to fresh southwesterly in the afternoon.

9. EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Fine and hot but very hot in places west of Butterworth.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north easterly, becoming moderate southwesterly in the evening.

10. KWAZULU-NATAL:

Partly cloudy in the morning with fog over the interior, otherwise fine and warm.
The wind along the coast will be gentle south-easterly north of Richards Bay at first, otherwise moderate north-easterly becoming fresh to strong in the south towards afternoon.
