Gauteng: At 05H40 Friday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Zambezi Drive outside the Baviaanspoort Wastewater treatment facility in Baviaanspoort.

Reports from the scene indicate that two light motor vehicles were involved in a collision.

Once paramedics had arrived on scene they assessed all the occupants of the cars who were all males and found that two people had died prior to the arrival of medics, another sustained serious injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention and the fourth patient sustained moderate injuries.

Once all the patients were stabilised they were transported to hospital for further treatment.

All necessary authorities were on scene to investigate.
