An intense cold front is expected to affect the Western Cape
and Northern Cape Provinces on Thursday into Friday. The public and small stock farmers are advised that strong to gale force north-westerly winds, very rough seas and very cold conditions can be expected.

2. MPUMALANGA:

Partly cloudy and cool to cold.

Partly cloudy in the eastern parts, otherwise fine and cool.

4. NORTH-WEST PROVINCE:

The wind along the coast will be light south-easterly becoming
light to variable in the afternoon.

Fine and cold but partly cloudy and very cold over the south
coast and eastern interior with morning rain along the south
coast and morning fog over the north-western coast.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly becoming strong south of Table Bay, spreading to the south coast by the afternoon.

8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Cloudy with scattered showers and rain along the coast and adjacent interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but cloudy with fog patches in places in the morning.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-easterly, becoming easterly in the afternoon.

9. EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Cloudy with isolated showers and rain along and south of the escarpment, but scattered along the coast, otherwise partly cloudy and cold, but cool in places.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh westerly, becoming easterly in the afternoon.

10. KWAZULU-NATAL:

Partly cloudy and cool, but cold in the south-west. It will become cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers over the eastern parts.
The wind along the coast will be moderate westerly at first,
otherwise southerly to south-westerly.
