A 7-year-old boy was left with minor to moderate injuries after being knocked down by a truck on the M38 in Rabie Ridge, Gauteng.

When Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene at approximately 08H51, they found the boy lying next to the road. Paramedics assessed the boy and found that he sustained minor to moderate injuries. Netcare 911 stabilised the boy on the scene before transporting him to hospital for further medical care.

It is alleged that the boy ran across the street when he was knocked down by the truck.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not yet known to our paramedics but local authorities were on scene to investigate.
