NORTHERN CAPE – Family Violence Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in Galeshewe is requesting the community to assist with information that may lead to the arrest of a man who allegedly raped a 40-year-old woman in Kagisho. It is alleged that on Saturday, 24 August 2019 at about 03:00 the victim was sleeping when she heard a noise. She woke up and found two unknown men inside her kitchen. One of the men allegedly raped her and fled the crime scene. The suspect is an African male, medium build and dark in complexion.

Police appeal to anyone who may have information about the incident or may know the whereabouts of the suspect to please contact the Investigating Officer, Detective Sergeant Aretha Classen of Galeshewe FCS Unit on 071 715 3184. All information received will be strictly treated as confidential.
