KwaZulu-Natal: At 23H21 Thursday night Netcare 911 responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision on the N3 Durban bound in the vacinity of Farningham Ridge Pinetown.

Reports from the scene indicate that a mini-bus taxi, light motor vehicles and a truck were involved in a collision.

Medics assessed the scene and found that three adult males and an adult female had sustained moderate injuries.

A Netcare 911 Rescue technician used the "Jaws of Life" to free the adult malr driver of the mini-bus taxi as well as the adult male driver of the car.

Once treated and stabilised all the patients were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.

All necessary authorities were on scene.
