GRAAFF REINET – On Thursday 28 November 2019 at 15.00 Members of Aberdeen Police Services held a 16 Day Activism against Gender Base Violence Campaign at Aberdeen Police Station.
Warrant Officer Nobuntu Ntontela who was assisted by The Community Police Officer, Members of the Community Police Forum and from Visible Policing, opened the Awareness Campaign with prayer and Welcoming to 4 men and 14 women.
The focus was on 16 Days of Activism against Gender Base Violence, which effects not only women and children but men as well. The other point of concern was Gangsterism and Bullying at Schools and in the community and its consequences.
Warrant Officer Ntontela and the members also spoke and gave clarity concerning The Initiation process and the health concerns.
In closing the Awareness Campaign the Community members who were present thanked Warrant Officers Nobuntu Ntontela and asked that these concerns be taken to the Schools in Aberdeen.
