Beautiful morning satellite image with thick high level clouds over the western parts of the country. Some light rainfall occurred over the Cape Metropole and Overberg region (Western Cape) expected to spread over the south coast (Western Cape) and clearing this afternoon.

Heavy swells with wave height between 4.5 to 5.0m can be expected south of Cape Columbine until this afternoon, and again this evening between Saldanha Bay and Cape Point until tomorrow mid morning.This could affect the coastal routes and communities as well as disruption of ports and harbors as a result of spray and large waves.
