After closer inspection, it was noted that a dog had been struck
down by a motor vehicle.The beautiful Pittbull-cross adult female was found to have sustained serious injuries and was battling to breathe in the freezing cold weather.
Without a second thought, an available ambulance as well as the Netcare 911 specialised Rescue Unit was dispatched to the scene, who arrived in a matter of minutes.
While the dog was made comfortable, a local vet was contacted regarding the incident and informed of the ambulances pending arrival.
