Two behind bars as police confiscate drugs and counterfeit money
FREE STATE – Selosesha Flying Squad members acted on an intelligence driven operation around Section G, Botshabelo on 9 September 2021 at about
11:30. Police went to the said house and upon searching they found 21 packets of Crystal Meth, 15 packets of Khat, one stone of Khat, 16 Mandrax tablets, one packet of Mandrax powder and 124 grams of dagga. A R100-00 counterfeit note was confiscated.Police further found cash amounting to R1 707-50. A 28-year-old male and a 24-year-old female were arrested for allegedly dealing in drugs and for possession of counterfeit money. They will appear before the Botshabelo Magistrates’ Court soon.
Community members are urged to continue working together with police to take drugs off the streets.
