#RuralSafety campaign by 'Bikers Ride Against Farm Murders'

Gauteng: More than 500 bikers gathered at the Centurion Lifestyle Centre where they proceeded in a convoy to Pretoria to handed over a memorandum highlighting safety concerns and the killing of farmers. Lt Gen Jeptha received the memorandum on behalf of the National Police Commissioner and ensured the Bike riders against farm murders that police will continue to work together with all stakeholders involved to curb crime murders. Even though they raised concern about their safety and farm murders, they also thanked the SAPS for playing a role in reducing farm attacks. They committed themselves to working alongside the SAPS to ensure all stakeholders are at the forefront of curbing farm attacks/murders.

The BRAFM (Bikers ride against farm murders) main objective is to unite bikers and biker clubs to join forces with other organisations nationwide, irrespective of race, backgrounds or religion, to honour the thousands of farmers that have been killed and also support the thousands of farmers who live in constant fear of being the next victims.
