A 30-year-old man arrested for murder
FREE STATE – A 30-year-old man has been arrested for murder after a quarrel rose between him and his friend whilst drinking.
It is alleged that the incident took place on
Saturday, 08 January 2022 at about 21:30 where two males were sitting together having drinks. An argument ensued between them whilst still drinking which led to the fighting. One of them took out a knife and stabbed the other. The paramedics were called to the scene.Upon arrival, the deceased had succumbed to stab wounds at the back and was declared dead on the scene.
A 30-year-old male suspect was arrested and will be charged for murder. He will appear at Sasolburg Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday 11 January 2022.
