Abandoned firearm found yesterday #GunsOffTheStreets

WESTERN CAPE – Police followed up on information they received about a person standing on the stairs at Ceres court, Elsies River with a firearm. Upon their arrival police searched the flat and found nothing.

As they were about to leave, they found a 9mm pistol with ammunition, it was found abandoned in a rubbish bin outside the flats. It was established that the firearm was stolen on a Lingulethu west case.
