NEW VARIATION OF R5 SCAM

If you follow the IRS Forensic Investigations Facebook page or Twitter page, @FraudWatchZA, you would have seen multiple posts by IRS over the past few years about our investigations into unscrupulous "coin dealers" such as SA Coin in Woodmead, Johannesburg. This new scam however, takes the use of the R5 coin as a tool to commit fraud to a whole new level.
