#COVID-19 Operation taken to the next level

Polokwane – The Police Act members attached to the Provincial Components have today on the 08th May 2020 embarked on another intervention operation in the City of Polokwane to enforce compliance on the COVID-19 Regulations by members of the community.

The operation comprised of all the Provincial components with the support from the SANDF focussing at Limpopo Mall, City Mall, Mall of the North and Indian Center.

Sporadic stop and searches were conducted around the city for those who were roaming without permits.

As the closing parade was held, Brigadier Rosina Mahloromela, on behalf of the Provincial management, thanked the Team for the job well done and she emphasized on the directive by the Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nneke Ledwaba that it is important of having such operations going forward in support of the entire workforce across the Province.
