Driving license testing centres (DLTC) , registering authorities , Vehicle Testing Stations (VTS) , driving schools will resume their services from 1 June 2020, subject to the hygiene , disinfection control, social distancing and sanitizing measures.
All Learner’s licenses, driving licenses, temporary driver’s licenses , motor vehicle license discs, temporary permits, roadworthy certificates and professional driving permits (PDP) that expire during period that commenced from 26 March -31 May 2020 are deemed valid and their validity period is further extended with 90 days from 1 June 2020
Motor trade number licenses that expire during the period that commenced from 26 March – 31 May 2020, are deemed to be valid and extended for a further grace period of 6 months from 20 May 2020.
No person will be allowed to enter a driving license testing Centre ( DLTC) , registering authority , vehicle testing station or driving school without a face mask , or a homemade mask that covers the nose and mouth.
All DLTCs , Registering Authorities, Vehicle testing stations and driving schools must put in place procedures for the cleaning and disinfection of the their premises prior to commencement of service on 1 June 2020.
