Eastern Cape: At 04H55 Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R61 in Mngungundlovu.

Reports from the scene indicate that a light motor vehicle and a light delivery vehicle were involved in a collision.

Paramedics assessed the scene and found that five people, four adult males and an adult female had sustained moderate injuries.

The patients were treated on scene and once stabilised were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
