Eastern Cape: At 21H23 Saturday night Netcare 911 responded to reports of a shooting on Coriander Road in Booysen Park, Bethelsdorp.

Reports from the scene indicate that a male patient had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body.

Medics assessed the patient and found he had no signs of life and was sadly declared deceased on the scene.

Circumstances leading up to the shooting will be investigated by the relevant authorities.
