1. Extremely hot conditions are expected in places over the eastern
parts of the Northern Cape, Central Karoo and northern and
north-western parts of the Eastern Cape.
2. Heatwave conditions with persistently high temperatures are expected in places over the eastern parts of the Northern Cape, Free State,
North-West and Gauteng until at least Friday.

Very hot in the north, otherwise partly cloudy and hot with isolated
afternoon showers and thundershowers.

The wind along the coast will be fresh southerly to south-easterly.

Cloudy over the west and along the south coast in the morning and
evening, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm but hot to very hot
over the interior.
The wind along the coast will be light to moderate westerly along the
south coast in the morning, otherwise south-westerly to southerly, but fresh along the west coast at times.

8. WESTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Cool along the coast, otherwise fine and warm to hot beoming partly
cloudy. It will be very hot in places over the northern interior.
The wind along the coast will be light to moderate westerly to
north-westerly, becoming south-westerly from midday.

9. EASTERN HALF OF THE EASTERN CAPE:

Cloudy south of the escarpment, otherwise partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated thunderstorms. It will be cool along the Sunshine Coast.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly, but light to moderate south-easterly during the afternoon.

10. KWAZULU-NATAL:

Partly cloudy in the east at first, otherwise fine and warm to hot but
very hot in places in the west. It will become cloudy from the west in
the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly, becoming strong between Durban and Richard's Bay this afternoon.
