1. Heatwave conditions with persistently high temperatures are expected in places over the eastern parts of the Northern Cape, Free State, North-West, northern parts of the Eastern Cape, western parts of KwaZulu-Natal, western parts of Mpumalanga and Gauteng until Friday.

Fine and hot but extremely hot in the north.

2. MPUMALANGA:

Fine and hot but warm along the escarpment, becoming party cloudy with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the Highveld.

Fine and hot becoming partly cloudy with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers in the south-west.

4. NORTH-WEST PROVINCE:

Fine and very hot becoming partly cloudy but hot in places.

6. THE NORTHERN CAPE:

Warm along the coast with morning cloud and fog, otherwise fine and warm to hot but very hot in places in the east and south, becoming partly cloudy by the afternoon.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to
south-easterly,becoming strong at times in the afternoon.

7. WESTERN CAPE:

Cloudy in the west and south-west with fog at first, otherwise fine and
partly cloudy along the south coast becoming fine and warm to hot over
the north-eastern parts but cool along the south coast.
The wind along the coast will be light and variable, becoming moderate to fresh at times, south-westerly to southerly, but south-easterly along the south coast.

The wind along the coast will be light southwesterly becoming south
easterly.

10. KWAZULU-NATAL:

very hot in the west at first. It will become partly cloudy with
afternoon isolated showers and thundershowers in the west.
The wind along the coast will be gentle to moderate southerly to
south-westerly south of Durban, otherwise moderate to fresh easterly to north-easterly.
