Free State Hawks dismantle drug dealing syndicate #DrugsOffTheStreets

FREE STATE – The Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime project driven Investigation in the greater Mangaung area of Bloemfontein has resulted in the arrest of six alleged drug dealers aged between 50 and 31 on Monday, 23 March 2020.

The operation was conducted following an intelligence surveillance operation where the group’s illegal activities were monitored and evidence was gathered since 2017. Over a period of time the group unsuspectingly sold supplies of various drugs to undercover police members which resulted in 16 case dockets being registered and their recent arrest.

The suspects are expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 25 March 2020, to face drug dealing related charges.
