Gauteng: At 04H38 Friday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the corners of William Nicol Drive and Mulbraton Road in Fourways EXT 27 Sandton.

Reports from the scene indicate that a light motor vehicle and a light delivery were involved in a collision.

Medics assessed the scene and found that two adult males from the bakkie sustained minor injuries and were treated on scene.

Three adult males and an adult female from the car sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious.

The seriously injured patient, an adult male back seat passenger required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise him before he was transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.

All necessary authorities were on scene.
