Gauteng: At 05H45 Wednesday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R556 towards Brits.

Reports from the scene indicate that a light motor vehicle and a light delivery vehicle were involved in a collision.

Paramedics assessed the scene and found that one person, an adult male from the light motor vehicle had sustained fatal injuries and was declared deceased on the scene.

Two other adult males from the light delivery vehicle had sustained moderate injuries.

Both patients were treated on scene and once stabilised were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
