Gauteng: At 11H46 Friday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a falls on Maltzan Street in Pretoria.

Reports from the scene alledge that an adult male had fallen from the fifth floor of a block of flats while trying to escape a building fire.

When medics arrived they found the patient on the floor in a critical condition.

The patient was resuscitated on scene by a Netcare 911 Emergency Care Practitioner however his condition rapidly deteriorated and was sadly declared deceased on the scene.
