Gauteng: At 14H04 Thursday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a Helicopter crash just off Johannesburg Old Main Road in Centurion.

Reports from the scene indicate that two adult males sustained moderate injuries when the Agusta 109 helicopter ambulance they were in crashed in a field near the main road.

The patients were assessed on scene by Advanced Life Support paramedics and once stabilised were flown by a SAAF Oryx Helicopter to hospital for further treatment.
