Gauteng: At 15H50 Tuesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a falls off the R513 in Pretoria.

Reports from the scene indicate that an adult male had fallen approximately seven meters whilst cutting a tree.

The patient was treated on scene by an Advanced life support paramedic and due to the nature of his injuries the Netcare 911 Helicopter Air Ambulance was activated to airlift the seriously injured patient to hospital for further treatment.
