Gauteng: At 16H40 Wednesday late afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of patient that had collapsed on Empire Road in Parktown Ext.

Upon arrival another private ambulance service had initiated a full advanced life support resuscitation after finding the patient unresponsive and not breathing.

Authorities had closed off a lane in both directions to allow Paramedics to attend to the patient.

Sadly despite best efforts by all involved the patients condition deteriorated and he was declared deceased on the scene.
