Gauteng: At 17H23 Tuesday afternoon Netcare 911 responded to reports of a building fire on Bram Fischer Drive in Ferndale Randburg.

Reports from the scene indicate that a fire had broken out in one of the rooms of a broadcast company.

All the occupants were evacuated and fortunately no injuries were reported.

Johannesburg Fire and Rescue Services had taken control of the scene and had contained the fire.

Circumstances leading up to the fire is at this stage not understood however all relevant authorities were on scene and will be investigating.
