Gauteng: At 18H00 Friday evening Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the R57 and R42 Barrage Road in Vanderbijlpark.

Reports from the scene indicate that three vehicles were involved in a collision.

The scene was assessed by Paramedics and an adult male was found to have sustained fatal injuries.

Another five patients, an adult male and four adult females sustained minor to moderate injuries.

The patients were treated on scene and once stabilised were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.
